Hutchinson Theatre Company is proud to present our annual Dinner Theatre                       musical, The Silver Belles, on November 14-16 and 21-23 at Crow River Winery!

               Directed by Airy Duncan

               Auditions will be held at on Sunday, August 17 (5-6 p.m.) and Monday, August                     18 (5-7 p.m.) at Vineyard United Methodist Church (1395 S Grade Rd SW). We                     are casting various roles for adult men and women.

                For your audition, please prepare about 30 seconds of a song that showcases                  your vocal ability. You are welcome to bring your own pre-recorded                                        accompaniment. We may also have you do a short reading that will be                                   provided.  No experience necessary!

               Please be familiar with the characters (descriptions can be found here) before                     your audition and be prepared to list any conflicts you may have with the                               rehearsal period (August 25 - November 13 with performances beginning                             November 14).

              It’s Golden Girls meets Designing Women with a heaping helping of well-known                Christmas tunes and clever new country and western ditties. Christmas without                  the Silver Belles… just wouldn’t be Christmas! When Oralene, the longtime                            director of small-town Sylva Ridge’s Christmas Pageant, suddenly passes away,                the Silver Belles must come to the rescue! With the spirit of Oralene looking on,                  the sterling-hued vixens band together, discover their talents and pull out all the                stops to keep the beloved pageant alive.
